Aaron Saxon
Aaron Saxon is a gifted musician / tutor and is sought after in both performance and tuition. Aaron's musical experience and commitment is second to none in the Bay and he is committed to providing a fun and informative tutored session. Aaron tutors in Voice, Guitar and Blues Harmonica. Aaron also hosts the Guitar Master Classes and the Weekend Warrior Workshops.
Nick Ririnui
Nick Ririnui is completing a Diploma of Music at the BOP Polytech and is a professional musician / drummer. Nick has a wealth of tutoring experience and MauaoPAC is proud to have Nick as part of our team. Nick has an open style and his drumming styles range from funk to blues, dub and reggae to rock and electronica beats.
Lara D. Cruse
Lara began her teaching career at a very early age tutoring when she was at fifth form to her fellow students. After completing her diploma in teaching she began working full time at Penrose High School as well as teaching music, she also accompanied the choir, assisted with chamber music groups and bands, and assisted in planning performances and school shows. She began teaching one on one in 1996 with a wealth of experience including an age range from 6 to 60.
Lara completed a BA in Mathematics and Education at Massey University and is holding an LTCL in Piano, a diploma of teaching in music, and is an associate of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers of New Zealand.
Alice Ecila
Alice has studied classical piano theory and practical under both the Australian and Royal Schools of Music. Alice has classical voice training and also studied Low Laryinx Speech Style Singing. Alice has been playing guitar since the age of 11. As well as Piano, Guitar and Voice Alice also tutors Flute.
Alice is an experienced live performer and as well as her tutored instruments she plays a variety of other percussive and harmonic instruments.
Alice has played in many musical acts throughout Australia and NZ and is now based in Mount Maunganui.
Alice specialises in teaching performance improvisation, song composition and arrangement.
Joel Shadbolt
Joel Shadbolt is one of NZ finest emerging Jazz Guitar players. He completed his BMus in Jazz in 2011 and enjoys sharing his knowledge of many different styles of music, from jazz and blues to country and rock.
MauaoPAC is very proud to have Joel tutoring for our music academy and he is also part of our Master Class Monday sessions.
